During the Mar. 28, 2009 Annual General Meeting, it has been agreed that the Travel Subsidy to BESS Teachers and Teacher Aids be increased from $5 per trip to $8 per trip. If you'd like to claim your Travel Subsidy, please download and fill the BESS Travel Subsidy Claim Form , then return it to the
treasurer of BESS by person or by email to

A cheque will be issued to you once the claim is verified. You can also include your bank details (name of bank, branch, BSB, account number, account name) along with your claim form, in which case the money will be transferred directly to your bank account. |

BESS has just published a new ebook: " Buddhism for School Year 5: Lessons, Guidelines and Workbook for Teachers".
This book was created by Rahu
Sarath-Chandra, Doug Laver and Deirdre Lin, and is suitable to use in
teaching year 4, 5 and 6.
Comment and suggestions are very welcome, so that this book can be
improved in the next edition. |
